Before visiting our dispensaries, you must have a Medical Marijuana Card. You can now apply for Medical Marijuana cards with the State of Pennsylvania. Here are the steps you will need to take.  

Step 1. Check Qualifying Conditions

In order to obtain a medical marijuana card in Pennsylvania, you must qualify under a list of 23 medical conditions. Learn more about the conditions.

STEP 2. Register Online

Visit medicalmarijuana.pa.gov to create a Patient Profile.

STEP 3. Update State ID

It's important that the address listed on your PA driver’s license or PENN-DOT issued ID card reflects your current address.  If not, you will have to update your PA state ID before applying for a medical marijuana card.

STEP 4. Consult a Certified Doctor

Visit a certified physician to determine whether medical cannabis is right for you and to receive your patient certification form. Click here for a list of Southwest PA certifying physicians who are providing certification services by telephone.

STEP 5. Designate Caregivers (optional)

If you are a patient that is under the age of 18, you will be required to designate up to two caregivers. If you are an adult patient that requires in-home support, has a disability, or simply wishes to use caregivers, you may designate up to two caregivers. Caregivers must visit the Pennsylvania Department of Health’s Medical Marijuana Program registry

STEP 6. Finish Registration

After your physician has submitted your patient certification form, return to your patient profile and complete the application process (there is a $50 application fee).
